Susanne Leimstoll

Susanne Leimstoll, geboren 1956, war Redakteurin für verschiedene Tageszeitungen, seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten und noch immer für den Tagesspiegel und dessen Magazine. 1993 erhielt sie den Wächterpreis der Tagespresse, zweimal war sie unter den Preisträgern des Deutschen Lokaljournalistenpreises der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. Seit einigen Jahren liegt ihr Schwerpunkt auf Lifestyle- und Genuss-Themen. Susanne Leimstoll lebt und arbeitet als freie Journalistin in Berlin.

Susanne Leimstoll, was born in Stuttgart in 1956. Her father was from Berlin and her mother from Baden-Württemberg. She worked as an editor for over 42 years, mainly for daily newspapers, and for more than two decades she worked for the Tagesspiegel and its magazines. In 1993, she received the Wächterpreis der Tagespresse (a journalism award) for an investigation into fraudulent dealings by the Treuhand privatisation agency. She has twice been among the winners of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s Deutscher Lokaljournalistenpreis (a local journalism award) for a series of articles for the Tagesspiegel. For several years, her focus has been on topics related to lifestyle and the enjoyment of food and drink. Susanne Leimstoll lives and works as a freelance writer in Berlin.

Penny Croucher

Penny Croucher, geboren in Großbritannien, lebte lange Jahre als Journalistin und Stadtführerin in Berlin. Heute arbeitet sie als Lehrerin, Autorin und Übersetzerin in der Nähe von London. Sie organisiert regelmäßig Gruppenreisen nach Berlin und hat bereits zahlreiche Bücher über die Stadt ins Englische übersetzt.

Penny Croucher, born in the United Kingdom, lived in Berlin for many years as
